How Often Should We Meet?
I have clients, new clients usually say, you know, how often should we meet? And I say, well, you know, we’re doing your bookkeeping monthly. Maybe you wanna meet with me quarterly, but I’d really rather meet with you monthly. And I, I even say this, I didn’t use to say this, but I say this now, how am I gonna nag you and make sure you’re doing all the things that I recommend?
If I’m only talking to you every few months when I could be nagging you every single month. And I do joke around with them about that because that is another part of the follow up is making sure that they’re implementing the strategies that we’re recommending or else it’s a waste.
Yeah, absolutely. And we, we are very, you know, me and Karen and the rest of the firm, we’re definitely people people, we love human beings. It’s extremely strange in our profession, but we love human beings. So setting up these appointments and, and having to chitchat, you know, you set up a 30 minute teleconference every month, perpetually going out forever. And what happens is if you get on the phone, if it’s only five minutes to talk, it’s fine.
